Our mission is to provide personalized and compassionate care to families in need of lactation support in the Fort Worth and surrounding areas. Our experts are dedicated to helping mothers and babies achieve their breastfeeding goals.
We understand that every family is unique, and we are committed to tailoring our services to meet the individual needs of each family we serve. We see a range of patients from those dealing with latching pain, bottle refusal, tongue/lip ties and more!
We also care for patients who need services in American Sign Language. Please let us know if you could use our Deaf Friendly Lactation Consultant.
Meet Jorilyn Tasker, an IBCLC dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based breastfeeding support to families across Johnson and Tarrant Counties.
She graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Maternal Health and Lactation from Union Institute & University. She is the mother of two exclusively breastfed children, who motivated her to study lactation. She has continued her education by taking courses in challenging areas such as low milk supply, tongue and lip ties, bottle refusal, and other complex feeding concerns.
Jorilyn is also a BEI-certified Sign Language Interpreter and hopes to provide breastfeeding services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing families as well.
When not working, Jorilyn enjoys spending time with her children and husband, being involved in community theater, playing sports, dancing, and continuing her education.
